🚨 PAEF SCHOOL & TEACHER GRANTS ARE OPEN! 🚨

Have a creative idea that could make a difference for students? Apply for a Port Angeles Education Foundation School & Teacher Grant!

Applications are due October 1, 2026

Who can apply? Teachers • Administrators • Paraeducators • School PTOs

Estimated amount available for distribution: $69,500

Grants support creative and innovative projects that help students through:
✨ Enhancement & enrichment
✨ Remediation & tutoring
✨ Graduation support

🤝 Collaborative projects are encouraged!

Awards announced: Early November
Funds available: Mid-November
Funds must be spent by: June 30, 2027

📋 A post-project report is required.

📝 Ready to apply? Download the Word application, type your responses directly into the form, print it, sign it, and submit it to your principal by October 1.

Thank you to Mr. Shyles, Mr. Logan, and Mr. Setubal for going above and beyond to enrich the students' learning experience and for creating meaningful opportunities for them to learn and grow.

Community impact is strengthened through collaboration and partnership, and PAEF is proud to work alongside incredible organizations like Juan de Fuca Foundation for the Arts to create meaningful opportunities for students in Port Angeles public schools.

Today we celebrate Kids Fest — a special event where students from every school and grade level across the district walk or bus to the PAHS auditorium for an incredible day of arts learning, live performances, and creative immersion.

Thank you, Juan de Fuca Foundation for the Arts, for all you do to enrich our community and bring the performing arts to learners of all ages.

The Juan de Fuca Festival is happening all weekend with a street fair, outdoor music, a community tent, multiple indoor stages, and fun for the whole family — don’t miss it!

Last night, the Port Angeles Education Foundation was honored to join fellow community donors in celebrating graduates from the Port Angeles High School Class of 2026.

PAEF awarded $323,050 in scholarships to 50 students through 26 scholarship funds. We are deeply grateful to the generous individuals and scholarship partners whose continued commitment makes these opportunities possible year after year.

Congratulations to these hardworking students! We are incredibly proud of all they have accomplished and excited to champion them as they take their next steps toward college and beyond. 🎓

As we look back on this special event, we’re excited to share a few photos that capture the spirit of the evening and the amazing people who made it possible.

Thank you to everyone who attended, supported, volunteered, sponsored, donated, and celebrated with us. Your partnership helps create opportunities for students and educators across Port Angeles Public Schools.

And before we know it, it will be time to celebrate again — save the date for the 2027 Celebrate Education Gala on Friday, March 12 at Field Arts & Events Hall.
