Young Life is a world class organization for adolescents. Our staff and volunteers enter the world of kids, focusing on what matters to them -- fun, adventure, friendship and a sense of significance. In doing so, we earn the privilege of talking to them about the good news of Jesus and His love for them. Kids' lives are dramatically impacted when caring adults come alongside them, and they begin to see that their lives have great worth, meaning and purpose.

Many of you saw that our Young Life camp plans to go to Washington Family Ranch this week had to pivot due to the wildfire activities in Oregon. This was devastating news to so many, our hearts broke.
But we're so excited today to be kicking off DAY ONE of our new plan: OP DAYS! We're doing some fun adventures across the Olympic Peninsula with the same heart and desire of camp, to get away together with kids and leaders, experience adventure while discovering the beauty God has for our lives. Here we go!!

Chris Cummings, a local director for Young Life, looks over fireworks for sale at a tent in the Walmart parking lot in Port Angeles, a location that is hosting a fundraiser for Young Life on the Peninsula.
