Folks, before a moment of gratitude for the season, ours hats are off and over our hearts for a moment of silence for those missing from our tables this holiday season… each of us has been touched with loss this past year.

As we all remember, in the year following the COVID-19 pandemic, our traffic death rate in Clallam County was 14.3 per capita. It was insanity, and lessons were learned. We have been at less than half of that for each of the last three years, and for that we are thankful. It’s a great trend, but lets keep it going. The target is Zero.

Please be safe, set an example, provide options, and intervene to save a friend or family member. Keep your:

Belts buckled

Systems sober

Speed safe

Distractions distant

National Prescription Medication Takeback on Saturday, April 26th from 10 am to 2 pm at the Clallam County Courthouse.

Free event where you can anonymously dispose of your unwanted/unused prescription medications. Va**ng pens and cartridges will also be accepted (please remove batteries), however sites cannot accept liquids, needles or sharps, only pills or patches.
