Miles and Maverick are looking for friends and family sponsors and jobs to help raise money for their next race bikes.
They both outgrew their bikes and as they continue to level up their skills and level of difficulty, they need to be on bigger and stronger bikes.
Miles is looking to jump on a 27.5" small full suspension, and Maverick will be rocking a 26" full suspension. If you know someone ready to hand down their kid's old enduro bikes, please let us know!
Hey friends! As most of you know, our family is incredibly passionate about bikes. From BMX, building skill at pumptracks, to mountain biking, and encouraging other families to get out on bike adventures, We LOVE to ride.
A couple of years ago, Miles and Maverick raced the NW CUP downhill series (a series of races all over the PNW). In a downhill race, a rider has a number/timing chip attached to their number plate, they ride a lift up to the top of a big hill/mountain, wait in line behind riders in their age/category, and then drop in and ride down as fast as they possibly can. One rider at a time. Itβs one of those, βsee you at the finish line!β races where my heart patiently waits for my kids to make it down the hill and past the finish line alive and well. π
I have slowly made my way down the βeasyβ line of a big hill, but watching the riders fully committed to the sport is honestly terrifying, yet SO INSPIRING.
Alas, my kids come ALIVE out there!
With that being said, Miles and Maverick are saving up for new bikes to race this next season!
The bike Miles has his eye on is $2,500. And Maverickβs is $1,900.
They are ready and willing to work hard over the next few months to raise money so they can race! If you have any projects or work that need to done around the house or yard appropriate for a 12 and 9 year old, please message me! Theyβre hard workers and ready to make their dreams a reality.
Or if you would simply like to support and sponsor their commitment to the sport, feel free find us on Venmo or reach out.
