The Rotary Club of Port Allen was chartered on August 14, 1959 by a group of businessmen who felt a need to work toward the improvement of the livelihood of the community.

🌎✈️ Ready for an experience that could change your world?

Rotary Youth Exchange (RYE) gives students the opportunity to experience a new culture, build lifelong friendships, gain independence, and see the world from a whole new perspective! 💙💛

As you work through the RYE application, remember that it doesn’t have to be completed all at once. Students may complete the application one section at a time, including the medical and dental portions. If a student needs additional time or assistance, the District is happy to work with them throughout the process.

🤝 Another great meeting with Port Allen Rotary Club! 🌟

Today’s business meeting was a busy and productive one! We discussed plans for our upcoming Rotary Golf Tournament fundraiser and preparations for our participation in the West Baton Rouge Museum’s Sugar Fest. ⛳️🍬

We were also excited to hear an update from Mark Dispenza, Governor-Elect for Rotary District 6200, who shared insight on what’s ahead for Rotary and the continued impact clubs across our district are making in their communities.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to come together, plan for the future, and continue Service Above Self in West Baton Rouge Parish and beyond! 💙💛

📣📣MEMBER SPOTLIGHT: Tiffany Hussein📣📣

Tiffany Hussein serves as our vice president. She is a maritime professional, agricultural enthusiast and proud mother of three. She has strong operational expertise with a practical, hands-on approach in her career.

Beyond her professional and agricultural pursuits, she is dedicated to supporting youth development through volunteering as a softball coach, helping young athletes build confidence, teamwork and leadership skills. “I am committed to family, community involvement and continuous growth. I believe hard work, integrity and perseverance will guide you.”

When asked what she likes most about Rotary, she says: “I really enjoy being part of the Rotary Club. It gives me the opportunity to make a positive impact on the community. It’s a great way to connect with local leaders, build relationships and help others.”
