Cattle Battle Information:

We will have a concession stand all weekend. Steak Sandwiches, Burgers, Fries, Nachos, Coffee, Hot Chocolate, Water, Sodas, and Candy will be available for purchase.

There will be an awards presentation on Saturday evening, dinner will be served at the presentation.

Brahman Influence Steers Only:
Do not have to be slick sheared. The hair does have to be laying flat against the body and steers can not be fitted.

Mr. Jerry will be at the show. Bring yalls blades and clippers. Get them sharpened before the next show. He will be on site sharpening.

Unfortunately, the show trailer will not be able to be at the show.

No shavings will be available for purchase at the show.

Cattle Battle Update:

After multiple conversations with officials across the state we have made the decision to reschedule Cattle Battle to December 6 -8, 2024. As of now, the location will stay in Ville Platte. This decision was not an easy one but with Louisiana taking a direct hit and a wobbling uncertain tract, we feel rescheduling the show is the best option.

The entries will roll over. We will issue refunds to those who will not be able to attend the show in December. Contact us directly for a refund.

Cattle Battle Update:

We are closely monitoring Tropical Storm Francine. We are in contact with the state and parish governments to make informed decisions regarding the show. As of now, we will continue to watch the track of the storm and make a decision in the coming days.

We are looking at making changes to the Friday schedule and moving those events to Saturday but we will update the schedule after a decision is made.

We understand that some will be unable to attend the show due to Tropical Storm Francine. We will reimburse entry fees for those directly impacted by the storm and can’t attend. You will need contact us directly at the numbers provided on the showman app for reimbursement. Reimbursement will be made after Sept. 16th, depending on the power situation.
