Alpha One Fire & Rescue Alpha One Fire & Rescue is based in Crazy Horse Community, in the Northern Wounded Knee District.

Alpha One Fire & Rescue is a Plume Inc. 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Organization operating on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation to provide emergency services to the Oglala Sioux Nation. In 2022, the Oglala Sioux Tribe entered into a MOU agreement with Plume Inc. dba Alpha One to provide structural & wildland fire suppression as well as extrication rescues. tion have a multitude of negative impacts to residents and the economy. Alpha One Fire & Rescue hopes to be key that helps make significant impacts to the housing market as well as the business sector that will provide outside investors to invest knowing their investment is protected from fires.

Alpha One responded to a lightning-caused vegetation fire that was beginning to spread toward a forested area.

Brush 2 was able to get on scene, stop the forward progression, and keep the fire from moving further into the timber.

Crews continue working in the area to extinguish hot spots and ensure the fire is contained.

Thankfully, this one was caught before it had the opportunity to become a much larger incident.

We have 5 days to go. Looking forward to some great training classes. So far, Active Shooter is gearing up to be a great session. Structure fires is certainly shaping up to be a good session. Grief after Trauma and BIA drug task force are both neck and neck for attendance.

Active Shooter is to help school principles and asst principles know how to go into lock down. This session will educate the educators on the most important factors of Active shooter.

This will be our last large session for the year, and all sessions will benefit all.
