UPDATE:
The family will receive friends and family at Coastal Church, 101 Village Avenue, Yorktown, Virginia, on Monday, November 10, at 10:00 a.m. A memorial service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the church. The burial will take place later at Asbury Church Cemetery in Jacksonville, Illinois. In lieu of flowers, Michael requested that memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Coastal Church Food Mission.

Michael (Mike) Leon Davenport II has laid down his working tools and ascended to the great celestial lodge above.
Mike was an 11+ year Master Mason of Bremond Lodge #241, as well as Scottish Rite Mason. He will be sorely missed. Funeral details to come.

Michael L. Davenport II, 60, passed away on Tuesday, November 4, 2025. He was born in Norfolk, Virginia, on April 8, 1965, the son of Michael Davenport and Kaye (Patrick) Davenport, both of whom preceded him in death.

On Thursday 23 Oct, Poq49 raised a brother to Master Mason. Welcome Bro. Mostafa Mohib. Wor. Rod presented Bro. Mostafa with a masonic ring after his raising.

The lodge had another great Stated!
Last night, we presented our 2nd Scholarship winner with her award. Presented our two latest Master Masons with their Apron, Masonic Bible and other materials. Plus, our 2nd quarter winner of The Beehive Award. All while having our Past Masters Night.
It truly was a great night to be a Mason.

The lodge had a busy and successful last couple of days.
On Thursday 29 May, we raused our latest Master Mason Don Taylor. (And we have three more on their way.) Great job degree team!
This morning with help from Bethel #39 Job's Daughters. We carried out our 1st Adopt-A-Spot of the year. A huge THANK YOU! ladies!

At our May Stated last night, we presented a check to one of our Scholarship winners. As well as a 50 Masonic Veteran Pin.
Plus, Wor. Bud Southall (50yr Mason) presented the lodge with Square & Compasses that came all the way from pre-WWII Germany.

Last night at our April Stated this happened.
Bremond 241 (top picture) obtained the District 14 Traveling Gavel - this Gavel is to be "STOLEN" at the current holder's stated by 5 or more from the "stealing" lodge's members to include the current Master.
Warwick 336 (bottom picture) presented Pq49 with the Traveling Gavel from District 14A (back when we were split) - Which is PRESENTED to a lodge at its stated .
