Our Story
Welcome to the Central Valley Empowerment Alliance. This a very exciting time for the Central Valley, and together we aim to address educational and economic inequality in California. Thanks to all your efforts, its now official! We will be holding “The State Town Hall on Education” April 14th 2018 at College of the Sequoias in Visalia, CA.
MISSION STATEMENT—Rooted in the Central Valley and focus on the Kern, Tulare, Kings, Fresno and Madera counties, Central Valley Empowerment Alliance’s mission is to strengthen Central Valley communities by promoting educational equity and social justice through organizational development and strategical coalition building to impact local, state and national policy by promoting access to higher education and civic engagement through cross-counties grassroots community development and self-advocacy.
VISION STATEMENT—The Central Valley Empowerment Alliance visions to effectively improve access to quality education for marginalized immigrant and low-income, and minority families (of color).
