Designing Women Foundation

Designing Women Foundation A non-profit organization that promotes literacy and provides scholarships to non-traditional students.

The Designing Women Foundation concerns itself with education in general, and literacy in specific, as a means by which young people ( particularly young women) can enrich their lives and their opportunities. The Foundation gives out $4,000 to $6,000 annually in college and vocational scholarships based on merit and need, regardless of age, race or religion. In addition, we distribute hundreds of

dollars in prizes and incentives to Poplar Bluff Junior and Senior High students who achieve goals in the Foundation’s reading program, The Charlie Classics.
