Hey everyone, I have some unfortunate news.

Yesterday I had an encounter that made me realize my presence and help with the Sonic Cat is not wanted or appreciated. I have thought about this a lot and it has become clear to me that I cannot continue visiting the Sonic Cats. This decision was not made lightly, and I have made this decision because I do not want to cause drama or stir the pot.

The Sonic Cats do have food provided to them daily and for that I am thankful.

I want to continue helping stray and community cats in Poplar Bluff. I will reach out to local rescues and shelters to see where I can help. Anyone who has given me food or supplies, I promise that these resources will still be used to help cats. If you sent me something and would like for it to go somewhere specific, please feel free to message me.

At this point I haven't decided if I will remain active in social media or not.

Thank you all for loving the Sonic Cats as much as I do!

Moments like this make me so happy. The first time I ever saw Bread he wanted NOTHING to do with me. As he got used to seeing me every day he started to warm up to me, especially when he realized that I also have tasty treats for him 😸 We became fast friends after that and now I can tell he's always so happy to see me. This is the closest I've ever managed to get to this little gray cat, they're just so shy and skittish but they're starting to figure out that I being food every time I'm here. I've been out and looking for Jonesy (orange male cat) multiple times a day for a while now but I haven't seen him. I'm worried about his mouth and I'd like to know that he's okay.
