June is PTSD Awareness month. Be sure to reach out to those you served with or veterans in your community as the summer is when there are the most suicides among veterans next to New Years Day. Other holidays are also difficult. It's sad to see combat injured vets sacrifice so much and then labeled by society rather than supported by their communities. Call 988 if you need to talk and feel like you have no one or feel like you don't want to bother anyone. God Bless.

Community Care has been cut significantly in the last couple of years, it may not seem like a significant problem but it is. The VA is spending billions on increasing their staff which is great for the community but they are using 20 year old material to treat problems our warfighters are facing while the best community providers are using new cutting edge advanced treatments that work and improve combat veterans lives drastically. I hate seeing combat veterans over medicated and just getting by when they can be living life to the fullest and thriving in our communities. Instead we have 10 employees having meetings for weeks in a pi***ng contest/power struggle trying to decide if we should let the vet use community care. By the time they make a decision the vet could have been in treatment for months or finished. If cost is an issue they could fire 7 of those 10 people making over $80,000 a year for checking blood pressure and data entry. (Openpayrolls.com) Most vets give up on the VA after something like this happens to them, some contact lawmakers to no avail, then they either adapt and overcome and live a mundane life or become a statistic. Warfighters deserve better and earned better, less than 1% of our population are willing to sacrifice their life and take a life for this country and it's freedom. It's not right for Warfighters to fight for freedoms that they will never get to enjoy.

Thank your combat injured vets by contacting our congressmen and letting them know that we have already sacrificed enough and find somewhere else to make cuts. Ukraine and foreign interests would be a great place to start. Contact your congressman here, https://www.congress.gov/members?q=%7B%22congress%22%3A117%7D

House Speaker Kevin McCarthy has unveiled sweeping proposed budget cuts in a bargain with the Biden administration over raising the nation’s debt limit.

Combat Warrior Relief Foundation

Our Mission is to assist combat injured veterans and their families who are in need and improve their quality of life. Some are losing their homes, losing their families, having problems with transportation to get medical care. The list goes on. They have sacrificed so much and some feel lost, betrayed, and forgotten. While larger organizations seem to be doing all they can handle, its taking too long and many combat veterans are being left to deal with the aftermath of war alone. Especially in rural areas. This is where we together with your support, step in and assist them and their families as quickly and strategically as possible. We also assist families of fallen combat troops.
