All of these services are open to our entire community, not income dependent. Walk-ins welcome, translation available. Please see the flyers below for more information. 2026 REC ASSIST: As the new year approaches, will begin accepting applications for the department's financial assistance program on Monday, Dec. 8.

Rec Assist offers County residents receiving eligible public assistance the opportunity to receive a scholarship of $400 per eligible family member that can be used toward the cost of most recreation classes, activities and memberships.

Calling all gardeners and growers! WUMCO hosts a weekly produce distribution starting May 21. If you have produce to contribute as the growing season goes on, it is greatly appreciated! Drop off at WUMCO or on the labeled shelves in the cold shed at Locals

The Mobile Health Clinic will not be visiting WUMCO on Thursday, May 7. The social worker will be available without the vehicle for those who have scheduled appointments. They will return on Thursday, May 21 with medical, dental, and behavioral health services.

Help keep food and other necessities on our local food pantry's shelves! We keep an updated list of our most needed items on our website, www.wumcohelp.org. Food can be dropped 24/7 in the box in the Pike & Valega parking lot, or bring to WUMCO weekday mornings between 9:00-12:00. Thank you for your support!
