Look for lots of broccoli to be distributed today and tomorrow - we also have cucumbers and bananas. WUMCO also has a lot of broccoli if you are unable to get one here when you come by. WUMCO Help Inc. weekly produce distribution starts today from 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm - bring your own reusable shopping bag. Distribution is at the WUMCO Help building across the street United Methodist Church. The Poolesville Community Garden will also be distributing tomato plants and some pepper plants to encourage reduction in food insecurity through growing your own food.

2026 REC ASSIST: As the new year approaches, will begin accepting applications for the department's financial assistance program on Monday, Dec. 8.

Rec Assist offers County residents receiving eligible public assistance the opportunity to receive a scholarship of $400 per eligible family member that can be used toward the cost of most recreation classes, activities and memberships.

It takes a village to keep the pantry stocked and we have one. Please only take what you need for today - think of others with a need equal to yours, but most of all, be blessed this Tuesday!
