Over the last 4 weeks at Strength & Scripture, we’ve been unpacking one powerful verse that has personally kept me going in moments of fear and doubt:

“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-discipline.” — 2 Timothy 1:7

My prayer is that every mom is reminded that fear may show up, but it doesn’t have to lead. God has given us everything we need to live out our calling 🤍

“Gathered by the Sea” recap 🌊

We started with some movement with a yoga session taught by , focused on releasing tension and releasing stress.

Then we grabbed delicious iced coffee from , the cutest new spot on Hilton Head!

We gathered at the beach with our Bibles, journals, and lunch. We went through a Psalm 46 verse study and had encouraging conversations about what it means to “be still.”

Finally, we spent some individual time releasing our worries, stress, anxiety and control to God. We took advantage of the opportunity for uninterrupted prayer.

I’m so grateful for this community and the way we all support each other through motherhood. I can’t wait to plan the next one, stay tuned!!

Gather by the Sea: a Mom’s mini retreat 🌊

This is for the Mom who needs rest, renewal, community, and time in prayer and reflection.

We’ll begin with gentle yoga and movement with to help release tension, quiet the mind, and ease stress from the demands of motherhood.

From there, we’ll gather for a short Bible study, intentional conversation, prayer walks by the ocean, and personal time with the Lord through prayer and scripture reading.

Afterward, we’ll enjoy a picnic-style lunch together — slowing down, connecting, encouraging one another, and building community with other moms who understand this season of life.

We will also be making a group coffee order from , one of the cutest spots on Hilton Head for anyone interested!

BONUS: Each Mom will receive a journal to keep 💗

Bible Study & Playdate at District Square Food Hall 💗

This was more than just a play date, and more than just a Bible study. Over 30 Moms showed up needing community, and Jesus met us there.

Some came alone, but no one left alone. New friendships were built and the exhaustion of motherhood felt a little lighter in community.

Another moment for Prayers & Petals 🌸

It was such a sweet addition to Strength & Scripture, our weekly workout and devotional. This morning was a team effort to remind each Mom that she is loved 🫶🏻

And this community is exactly the place for that kind of support.

You won’t find comparison or judgement here. Just women seeking Jesus in every gathering, and always making space for one more💗
