Many of us spent between a third of a year to two full years, to many more in that place for children who needed help. We didn't allways find it with the doctors, usually it was with the case workers who were our friends. I still remember Jim Logan, and Henry (I forget his last name) Sandra, and Margret the kindly lady from Scottland. I remember how scared I was to be away from home, and how those
people made it my home while I was there for nearly a year of my life. I was one amung the first patients to be housed in Mapleview the adition wing that was added to help kids adjust to life out side of the hospital in group homes. I am sad that it was abandoned, Left to rot, and eventually burnt to the ground.
