Beginning today, Great American Road Rally is hitting Route 66 with a special focus on the mission of Friends of Jaclyn Foundation, connecting children battling pediatric brain tumors and other childhood cancers with college and high-school sports teams, giving each child a roster spot, a locker, and a team behind them.

Brain Tumor Network is proud to have connected with Friends of Jaclyn and to see this meaningful work featured throughout the season. We’ll be sharing more in the weeks ahead, including a very special BTN connection you won’t want to miss.

Tune in beginning September 2 at 9 PM ET on The CW.

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. Behind every diagnosis is a child, a family, and a future that deserves every possible chance.

Brain tumors are the most common solid tumors in children and teens. This month, we raise awareness for the children facing brain tumors today, remember those we have lost, and keep pushing for better treatments, better support, and better outcomes.

Not every meningioma is the same.

Under the 2021 WHO classification, meningiomas are graded from 1 to 3. That grade comes from how the tumor cells look under the microscope and, for the first time, from specific molecular findings. Most meningiomas are slow-growing, but tumor grading helps shape what treatment and follow-up look like.

Pathology reports can be hard to understand. BTN can help patients and caregivers make sense of their results and prepare questions for their care team. Get Connected today for personalized support at no cost: https://www.braintumornetwork.org/connect-with-a-navigator/

Our team sat down with AONN+ for a new three-episode continuing education series on neuro-oncology navigation, and Episodes 1 and 2 are now live.

The series draws on what our navigators do every day: guiding patients and families through a primary brain tumor diagnosis. Episode 1 walks through the ideal patient journey and offers practical strategies you can bring straight into your own practice.

Today we celebrate Rick Sontag, our founder and president. Rick turned a hard chapter of his own life into Brain Tumor Network, a place where families facing a brain tumor diagnosis always find a guide beside them. Everything we do traces back to his heart and his vision. Happy birthday, Rick. We're so grateful for you.

A new, easy way to give back. The Return Bracelet is built on a simple idea: one bracelet can support any cause. For every bracelet sold, $3 goes to the nonprofit you choose at checkout. Select Brain Tumor Network, and that gift helps keep our navigators ready for the next family who calls for help.

Each bracelet helps one more family face a brain tumor diagnosis with a guide beside them, and that support starts with you. https://www.returnbracelet.com/btn
