Thanks for another great summer at Many Point!

To every Scout and Scouter who joined us this summer, thank you for coming to Many Point Scout Camp. We had a blast having you here, and we hope you headed home with some great memories, new skills, and plenty to be proud of from your week at camp.

Planning for 2027 is already in motion, with more fun, more adventure, and more opportunities for Scouts and adults. There are some pretty cool things in the works, and we can't wait to share them with you.

Adventure awaits

A week at Many Point is a lot more than a week away from home.

It’s getting out on the lake, climbing the tower, trying something new, sitting around the campfire, and spending a week outside with friends.

They’ll try things they haven’t done before, do a little more on their own, and come home with some great stories.

"Life moves pretty fast, if you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it" -Ferris Bueller

It's hard to believe that this summer is already over; it has been an amazing season with the most amazing memories. Thank you Scouts for joining us this year, we hope to see you ALL next year.

And thank you staff for making this another magical summer, we wouldn't be Many Point without our wonderful staff. It's been a blessing, and we hate to go, but it'll be a short couple of months, and we'll be back at it again.

Blue skies and saving lives

The other day I had the pleasure of sitting in on our Life Saving Merit Badge and boy, oh boy, did these Scouts have fun. That morning they were able to hit the beach and practice their in-water rescues!

Congratulations to Jack, who finished his Scouting Heritage merit badge by displaying his collection of Scouting memorabilia, learning the history of Scouting and Many Point at the History Center, and playing the same Scouting games Sir Robert Baden-Powell introduced at Brownsea Island.

It's where the best in Scouting goes!

Down in Voyageur, I got to pop in on our Wilderness Survival and Camping Merit Badges where they were learning all about making food and water in the woods. Then in the afternoon, I was able to sit in on a DELTA where these resourceful Scouts had to use teamwork to complete a series of games and hopefully learned a lot in the process.
