Join us on April 11, 2026 for a free informational seminar on Forest Investment Opportunities in Louisiana, hosted by Dr. John Tracy and his Forest Resource Economics students from LSU’s School of Renewable Natural Resources.
This seminar is designed for non‑industrial private forest landowners and anyone who has inherited land and is unsure how to manage it or generate revenue. Students will share easy‑to‑understand, introductory guides to forest investment and management options specific to Louisiana.
☕ Coffee and a light breakfast will be provided.
This is a great opportunity to learn, ask questions, and explore what your forestland can do for you.

🚨 UPDATE: Managing Pine Forests for Wildlife Workshop – Rescheduled to April! 🚨

Thank you to everyone who expressed interest in our upcoming hands-on workshop on prescribed fire, thinning, and creating prime upland wildlife habitat in pine forests! Due to limited registrations so far, we've decided to move the event to April 2026 to allow for a stronger group and even more valuable discussions/field demos.

We’re finalizing dates now and will confirm so stay tuned for registration reopening! If you were planning to join or know someone who might be interested, please keep an eye out or reply here with preferred dates in April.
