Louisiana Society Order of Confederate Rose This organization shall be a support group to the Louisiana Division.

The purpose of this Organization shall be to assist the SCV in its historical,educational,benevolent,and social functions, especially the preservation of Confederate Symbols. The Louisiana Society Order of Confederate Rose functions as an organization thru the sponsorship of the Louisiana Division Sons of Confederate Veterans as a support group. s must be sponsored by a SCV Camp and cannot be formed without a signature of a current member of the LA Division Sons of Confederate Veterans and a current member of the Louisiana Society Order of Confederate Rose.

It is with great sadness to announce that Ann Holley from Arkansas has passed away this morning between 3am- 8am. Sarah Hicks-Gentry Rachel will let us know when more information about arrangements will be made available. Prayers for James Holley and Sarah Hicks-Gentry Rachel during these hard times and lord help guide them through it with your help.

You’ve all been waiting for our announcement this week so here is one of them…yes we have even more good news but this is a big one!

After years of requests we will be adding on a special area for our littlest battle fans!

We are proud to present “Fort Taylor”! A children’s battlefield experience that is based on education and of course FUN! The schedule below features several events that your kiddos will be able to enjoy including:

🥁 a play battlefield designed with them in mind for free play!
🥁 “Kids Battle” where your children will learn drill techniques and participate in a kid friendly, safe “battle”!
🥁Parents, you will have an area to observe your kiddos as well and relax while they play!

‼️All children must be escorted by a parent or guardian and we will require that hold harmless agreements be signed for participants in the kids battlefield experience.

More details to come! We hope you will be as excited about this addition as we are!

Here ye here ye. I Michelle Bennett President of Louisiana State Society Order of Confederate Rose. I need all active OCR members in Louisiana to in box me if you are active. And no we're not taking dues because we need to grow and have 10 camps throughout Louisiana. This is something I am trying to do but I need people to recruit people need to join so we can keep supporting our men and heritage. Thank You.
