Come paint and share space in good conversation, laughs, and relaxation today at 2 p.m. at the Cultural Center ๐Ÿ˜Š

Ladies, you are not going to want to miss this!! PTVS is honored to collaborate with our Ponca Tribal Vice-Chairwoman Rene for another round of tea, matriarchy, and fellowship ๐ŸŒฑ๐ŸŒธ๐Ÿ™

A core component of matriarchy is cultural focus. This focus often emphasizes nurturing, community, and spiritual connection with nature, rather than dominance.

Art is proven to be a powerful tool in healing โค๏ธโ€๐Ÿฉน, social change, and community building. Our ancestors knew this, which explains why there is proof of their ancient existence imprinted through art world wide.

So please, come join our Vice-Chairwoman and have some good conversation while tapping in to your creative energies as you paint along with an art teacher from StillyArts LLC!

This will be a first come first serve basis, as there are only 50 spots! All supplies are included ๐Ÿ˜Š

We look forward to seeing you!

The National Day of Awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women is May 5th. East Jr. High students band together in solidarity every year to show their support. We will remember. And we will build up, champion, and love our future generations.

If you would like to educate your children with the help of developmentally appropriate material, we suggest reading, โ€œTessโ€™s Red Dressโ€ by Carolyn Roberts.

National Missing and Murdered Indigenous Peoples (MMIP) Awareness Day is held on May 5 to honor the lives of missing and murdered Indigenous people and to bring attention to the crisis of violence against Native communities. It is a day of action, remembrance, and advocacy, featuring vigils, rallies, and events where supporters often wear red and use the red handprint symbol to represent silenced voices.

Donโ€™t forget to wear red tomorrow!! May 5th is the National Day of Awareness for Missing and Murdered In...

May 5th is the National Day of Awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls (MMIWG). It highlights that 4 in 5 Native women experience violence, with murder rates over 10 times the national average. Activities include wearing red, prayer walks, and community vigils.

Show your support by wearing red to represent the missing and murdered.
