Tomorrow, we’re going PURPLE for Penelope! 💜

One of our fellow advocates, Kenna, is asking our community to help raise awareness for Rett Syndrome in honor of her daughter, Penelope.

Penelope is 5 years old and has TCF20, a rare genetic disorder that presents with a phenotype of atypical Rett syndrome. She is nonverbal and communicates using an eye-gaze device, and she works incredibly hard every day.

Tomorrow, October 16, wear purple to help us show Penelope and her family just how much support surrounds them. 💜

Join us November 9 for SEPAC Connects: Meet Your Community Helpers — a sensory-friendly evening where children and families can meet local police, fire, EMS, and therapy dog Pearl in a calm, welcoming environment.

No pressure. No loud, overwhelming event. Just a chance to build familiarity, comfort, and positive connections with the people who help keep our community safe. ❤️
