Meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month in the Pompton Lakes Council Chambers at the Municipal Building. The purpose of the Committee is to make recommendations to the Mayor and Council as to the lands to be acquired for open space, parkland and recreation or the utilization of funds to maintain or expand existing open space, parkland or recreational facilities. The Committee shall
make recommendations as to prioritization of these acquisitions, maintenance and improvements and shall assume any duties designated to them by a majority vote and written resolution of the Mayor and Council as they sit as a full body
