Portofino earns his house. This 7-month-old terrier mix is the mastermind behind every round of puppy romping - he starts the chaos, then turns on the sweetest puppy eyes the second he wants a cuddle. He loves playing with the other pups, splashing in the kiddie pool, and getting exactly what he wants (which is usually snuggles).

Mischievous, strategic, and impossible to resist. That's Portofino. 💚

Sorting Hat series continues! Our volunteers have matched another Angel to her Hogwarts house - meet Raven, our newest Ravenclaw. 🦅💙

Raven fits her house perfectly. She's whip-smart, food motivated, and always thinking two steps ahead - the kind of dog who could easily pick up agility or scent work with the right person to guide her. When she's not busy outsmarting everyone, she's chasing the hose, splashing in the intracoastal, or turning into a full bowling ball of snuggles.

Clever, curious, and ready to put that big brain to work for her forever family. That's Raven. 💚

Litto is the definition of true and loyal. This sweet, pocket-sized Staffy is extra wiggly, extra snuggly, and endlessly friendly - he wants to play, he wants to run, and most of all he wants to do it all right beside you. He's got a great temperament with other dogs and is settling into life at Angels Haven with the biggest heart.

Devoted, affectionate, and unafraid to give his whole heart. That's Litto. 💚

Kaylee knows exactly what she wants - and what she wants is you, a game of tug-of-war, and maybe a splash in the water while she's at it. She loves hard (once she trusts you), and brings a bowling ball's worth of enthusiasm to everything she does.

She does best with structure to help channel all that spirit, and since she's dog selective and can play a bit rough, an experienced home without young kids is the right fit for her.

Strong-willed, strategic about her fun, and fiercely loyal once she's yours. That's Kaylee. 💚

Bold, bring it, and go big - that's Percy in a nutshell. This one-year-old is 60 pounds of pure enthusiasm who shows up 100% for walks, fetch, yard time, and couch snuggles. He's friendly with people, good with other dogs, and approaches life with a fearless, all-in kind of energy - he just needs a confident handler who can match it and help him channel all that spark.

Fearless, full-hearted, and ready to give someone the biggest smile they've ever seen. That's Percy. 💚

Lola fits right in. She's sweet, easygoing, and just wants snuggles, walks, and playtime with her favorite people. She does great with small dogs, though cats and medium/large dogs aren't the best match for her. Lola came to EADR after her previous owners planned to euthanize her simply for not getting along with another large dog - but her rescue team saw exactly what kind of gentle soul she really is.

Loyal, true, and ready for a family who sees her worth. That's Lola. 💚

America wears her house well. This sweet girl is fearless and adventurous - especially when a lizard crosses her path. She loves her walks, snuggles, and a good game of fetch, but fair warning: she can need a strong handler when the chase instinct kicks in.

Bold on the outside, total snuggle bug on the inside. That's America. 💚

✨ Sept 1: The annual journey from King’s Cross begins, and so does our magical adoption series! ✨

Our volunteers have been busy sorting the Angels into Hogwarts houses based on their personalities - and Emily is a Hufflepuff. 🦡💛

It's a perfect fit for Emily. She gave everything to her babies - Viva, Echo, Juno and Nova - before it was finally her turn to be safe. Now this gentle mama is looking for the soft landing she's always deserved.

True to her house, Emily is the certified cuddle-seeker of the group. She's affectionate, walks beautifully on leash, and already knows sit, paw, and maybe even down. She hasn't had the chance to properly meet another dog yet, but she walks calmly alongside them - so we think she'd warm up just fine with the right introduction.

Patient, loyal, and ready to give her heart to a family who will never let her go. That's Emily. 💚
