Friends of Paradis des Indiens -- Special Mother’s Day Fundraiser -- for a 2nd Sewing Class in Abricots !!
Dear family and friends,
Mother’s Day is coming soon and what a better way to honor your Mother or Grand-Mother than to offer a scholarship in her name for a student to attend a Sewing Class.
The scholarship is $200 per student and the class lasts
one full calendar year. The student will then receive a diploma from
Friends of Paradis des Indiens.
There are many candidates, but we can only accept 15 students.
We also need two additional Sewing Machines that we can buy in Les Cayes $300 each.
Haitian Mothers and Grand-Mothers generally loved sewing. They would be so pleased to know that in their names, a girl or a boy will acquire sewing skills that will help them in the future.
If you cannot send $200, send whatever you can and we will combine it with other donations so a student can learn Sewing Skills in your Mother’s name.
