Vital Flight's 2023 Special Kid's Day is this weekend and we are very excited to host our 11th annual "A Special Day for Special Kids! "

An event of this magnitude would not be possible without community partners. Funding is required for everything but the flights, which are provided by our wonderful volunteer pilots.

Vital Flight is a 501(c)3 non-profit charity, all donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

Vital Flight is an organization with a mission to coordinate free transportation and life-changing experiences for those in need of compassionate, medical, or emotional support with a vision to be Florida's premier all-volunteer aviation organization. Whether you are a pilot, prospective recipient of our services, or a volunteer - Vital Flight brings it all together and coordinates the transportation delivered by volunteer pilots and drivers that have dedicated themselves to this type of valuable service. FAA qualified and licensed pilots provide their time, aircraft, and all expenses at no charge to those seeking assistance.

The annual Vital Flight Raffle is underway! This drawing is to support "A Special Day for Special Kids." This is our yearly and most treasured event of the year for our volunteers and the communities we serve!

Raffle Details
In just over a week, we will hold our Grand Prize drawing in a raffle to benefit our annual program, A Special Day for Special Kids - returning to the skies of South Florida in 2023! This raffle will bring much needed funds and support to our program designed to give special needs children and their families a day away from their struggles courtesy of our loving pilots, volunteers, and donors.

What are the prizes?

1st Place Grand Prize: Delta Air Lines $1,000 Gift Card - valid for any Delta purchase**

2nd Place Prize: Winners choice of either an Intro Flight or a BFR (aircraft included*)

3rd Place Prizes (2): Gift packages and cards to local establishments. The value of each prize is $100+.

Tickets are: 1 for $10 --- 2 for $15 --- 15 for $100.

When is the drawing?

Friday, January 13, 2022 at 7, 8, 9, and 10pm. Each ticket drawn for an hourly prize will be returned to the bin for a chance at the grand prize! Winner does not need to be present to win.

Online purchases must be completed by 9am ET, January 13th. The drawing will be held during the CEU After-Holiday Party - Jan. 13, 2023. 3rd Place Drawings are at 7pm, 8pm. 2nd Place Drawing is at 9pm. 1st Place drawing is at 10pm. Winner does not need to be present to win. Winners will be notified by mail or phone. *If BFR flight is chosen, pilot must already have a complex endorsement. **Delta Gift Cards may be used for travel on Delta Air Lines marketed flights, including those operated as Delta Connection® and by Delta Air Lines codeshare partners with a Delta Air Lines flight number.

As Vital Flight recovers from the COVID-19 pandemic, we are holding a raffle to support A Special Day for Special Kids. We will be offering several fantastic prizes including a $500 Delta Air Lines gift certificate along with several $100 restaurant gift cards to local South Florida establishments. "To everyone who donated their time, money, resources, flight time, planes, fuel, etc we are beyond grateful. The supplies have been one of the biggest blessings to the South region of LaFourche Parish (Larose, Cut Off, Galliano and Golden Meadow). The items will be distributed to many who have lost everything within the area. A huge heart felt Thank You.
The closest grocery store which is operational is 75 minutes away."

This is why we do what we do here at Vital Flight . This is why our pilots, volunteers, donors, and staff are the best around. Anytime we can make a difference for someone during their time of need, we will do our best to ensure we step up to meet that need. Thank you for being on our team and helping us meet the need these past few days. May we continue to support those affected by hurricane Ida moving forward, as many still have a long road ahead. We stand ready.
