The mission of the High Mind Foundation is to make a positive impact and difference in the lives of children and youth in Haiti, primarily through various age-appropriate programs and events, to assist them in achieving their highest potential as they grow to become confident and self-sufficient individuals, by providing exemplary leadership and standards of excellence.Our charity empowers, encour
ages, and educates underprivileged and vulnerable children in Haiti. We provide programs that will support children with healthy and creative environments to inspire and assure success is attainable for every young person who encounters our programs, with a plan for the future, demonstrating good character and citizenship, and living a healthy lifestyle. We plan to ensure accountability, credibility and transparency in all that we do, at all times. Guaranteeing an environment of mutual respect and encouraging ongoing self-reflection throughout all of our programs so as to ensure trust and safety across the board. Assuring both inclusion and unity within our organization, especially access to quality education and nourishment for all. Fighting for social change, liberation and protecting the fundamental rights of all children. Ensuring cultural competence and sensitivity throughout all of our programs and services. Encouraging local leadership to be an incentive for innovative change. Fostering an environment to find creative solutions to ongoing continuous challenges. Programs will include but are not limited to: social activities to promote self-esteem and confidence, team building skills through creative workshops, and educational interactive games. Our programs aim to improve outcomes for young children and their families by proper nutrition for higher functioning, referral to community resources, offering support services, early education and care, and more.
