JGB Ranch Resort is a place for you to come relax and enjoy the nature that is around you and just have fun. We are Donation ONLY and non-profit. Here you can Primitive camp anywhere on the 80 plus acres. You must bring everything that you need. As this is a place where you are on your own (have water to fill up jugs and fire would for small donation) We also work on the barter system as there is
always something on the farm that is needed or needs to be done :). A few RV locations available but remember there is NO hook ups. ( May change over time have a few possible locations to put electricity) We have 5 campsites with paddocks for horses. *See pictures. Just picture this.... you have your camp site set up, tent in the back nestled between some trees. Camp fire lite and burning nicely, as you sit and watch the sun go down behind the tree line and take in the wonderful country view and lovely sounds with not buildings to get in your way; you see a momma deer and her twin babies run along the bottom meadow, over to the pond to get a drink, after a long day of grazing and playing. This ladies and gentlemen is the everyday life of rancher Joe and this is what you can expect to see and experience. Take the time and come see what we get to enjoy every day!!!. Take a step out of busy life and in to nature and the relaxing qualities is has. Bring everything you need. Call Bobbi Jo 417-365-3462 to let her know you are coming and if you have decided which spot you might like. Upon arrival Rancher Joe will tell you where to go and then you are on your own. Signs will be posted during times of not burning, hunting season ect.... Donations are greatly appreciated and will be used to maintain our wonderful grounds and animals. We ask that you:
1) Leave campsites cleaner then the way you found them.
2)Smokers please Do Not throw cigarette butts on ground, please throw them away or burn them.
3)Burn only in fire pits
4)Respect others privacy
5)Please keep animals at your camp location or with you at all times. Come have fun and enjoy the peaceful tranquility with us. We are close to river access, trail heads, area for target practices upon request, photographer for hire, plenty or wood to walk thru and explore. 2 hours from Springfield Missouri. Wonderful scenic drive to our wonderful resort thru the Ozark Mountains.
