MARCH AGAINST MONSANTO

Do you want a March Against Monsanto in Riverside this May 21, 2016? Come help us plan for it. Our next Label GMOs Inland Empire chapter meeting is this Wednesday, Feb. 10, at 6:30 pm. It will be at my house, 4215 Cirrus Way, Riverside, CA, 92503.

TRANSPACIFIC PARTNERSHIP (TPP)

Much is going on around the Trans Pacific Partnership Treaty, which will overrule many laws. On February 15, a coalition of several groups will be gathering in Rancho Mirage to protest President Obama meeting with representatives of the various countries involved with the TPP. And we’ll be out there too with our signs, voices, and energy. Would you like to join?

DR. SERALINI IN SAN DIEGO

On a exciting note, Dr. Seralini who conducted a long term experiment of feeding GMOs to rats will be speaking in San Diego at Environmental Health Symposium on Sunday March 6th from 3-7 pm. Currently, organic is the best way to limit/eliminate GMO foods from our diet. Organic also limits the types of herbicides, fungicides, insecticides, and fertilizers that can be used organic produce. Many of these chemicals are hormone disruptors and affect the way that our bodies grow. The increased toxic load from these chemicals will ultimately influence our ability to resist most diseases and our body's ability to maintain health. The best choice is to grow your own food. The next best choice is to have a trusted organic farmer grow your food or buy organic.

There may be a difference in price for organic food, but the price we pay with our health is difficult to recover. It is this simple:
