WE’RE IN THE FINAL STRETCH. ✊🏽

AB 1881, the California Indian Freedom Act, has officially passed the California Legislature! 🎉

The Assembly approved the Senate amendments and concurred, sending AB 1881 to Governor Gavin Newsom.

This moment was made possible by the collective advocacy of Tribal Nations, Native organizations, community members, and allies who raised their voices for Native religious freedom, sacred places, cultural practices, and Tribal sovereignty.
Now, we need your help with one final push.

Governor Newsom has until September 30 to make his decision. We need Californians across the state to urge him to SIGN AB 1881 INTO LAW.

📣 TAKE ACTION: https://tinyurl.com/SignAB1881

It only takes a few minutes to complete the action form. Then share it widely with your family, friends, community, organizational partners, and networks.

Every message helps show the Governor just how broad and powerful the support for AB 1881 truly is.

We have come this far because of the strength of our collective voices.

Let’s keep that momentum going. Let’s make sure Governor Newsom hears us.
