DeSean Vorise Foundation Partnering with the community to expand educational opportunities for our youth A recurring theme from those who knew DeSean was how helpful he was.

This organization was founded in memorial of DeSean Vorise, who passed away on February 19, 2016. In his honor, we continue on His legacy of "helpfulness" by offering financial assistance for students to engage in educational opportunities outside the classroom.

Happy Heavenly Birthday, Son. Before Sean passed away, we made the decision to forgo the annual family trip this year. We felt the reason for the trip had gotten lost and wanted to take this time to reflect. I rarely offer advice, but I do offer this thought; As we start our new year, think about all the people you love. They will not all be here next year, or maybe you won't. Take a moment to let them know you love them, and make some memories that will last forever.

This holiday season we donated coats and jackets to people in need and adopted a senior citizen in our community. We are truly grateful for the opportunity to be a blessing.

I didn't get as many pictures as the kids, I was busy making memories. But I enjoyed our trip to Denver for DeSean's birthday. He would have enjoyed visiting the US Mint and the museum. I can hear him now talking to me about the exhibits.
