Servant Partners Transforming Communities With the Urban Poor Together, we work at the grass-roots level to address the spiritual and physical needs of the communities we serve.

We see ourselves as catalysts for change, and emphasize relationships, flexibility, creativity, and risk-taking in ministry. Instead of creating a permanent Servant Partners presence, we evangelize, train, and empower people to transform their own communities in ways that will continue long after we are gone. We host internships, recruit staff from around the world, and partner with local churches

, leaders, and organizations to work towards transformation.

The Transfiguration
"After six days Jesus took Peter, James and John with him and led them up a high mountain, where they were all alone. There he was transfigured before them. His clothes became dazzling white, whiter than anyone in the world could bleach them. And there appeared before them Elijah and Moses, who were talking with Jesus.

Peter said to Jesus, 'Rabbi, it is good for us to be here. Let us put up three shelters—one for you, one for Moses and one for Elijah.' (He did not know what to say, they were so frightened.)

Then a cloud appeared and covered them, and a voice came from the cloud: 'This is my Son, whom I love. Listen to him!'

Suddenly, when they looked around, they no longer saw anyone with them except Jesus." Mark 9:2-8, NIV

Learn how to transform your community through listening to the needs of your neighbors and start a Seed Project. There are two online workshops and five one-on-one coaching sessions to help you complete the project. Applications are due by Sept 19!
Dates for the cohort are September 26 and October 10, 2026, at 8am-12:30pm Pacific Time (PDT)
