Gallery 57 Underground Gallery 57 Underground is an organization of artists.

A nonprofit, public benefit corporation with both federal and state tax exemption status, its mission is to provide a supportive environment for the creation and exhibition of meaningful, expressive, individual contemporary art; to encourage dialogue and networking among artists and the arts community; to provide a site to share contemporary, sometimes experimental, work with the larger community;

to increase public access to and understanding of contemporary art; and to offer art projects and events in which the larger community can participate.
