Building better communities starts with better conversations.

Our Alternative Violence Prevention (AVP) class creates a space to learn, connect, and develop tools for navigating conflict and preventing violence.
Together, we’re working toward safer, healthier communities-one conversation at a time. 💛

How much food do you think is wasted every day in LA County? 👀

We asked our team. And let’s just say… nobody got it right. 😂

The actual number? Watch until the end.

Food waste is a huge issue, but so is making sure good food gets where it’s needed most. That’s a big part of why we do what we do.

4 Million Pounds of Food Rescued. 🧡
From January through August 2026, God’s Pantry has rescued 4 million pounds of food that could have otherwise gone to waste and redirected it to help nourish our community.
Food rescue is more than saving food. It’s about reducing waste, creating access, and making sure good food reaches people who need it.
This is Hunger Action Month.

WAIT… WE’RE ON CBS! 📺

Today, God’s Pantry is getting a little screen time and we couldn’t be more excited to share what happens here every day.

This is more than a food bank. It’s food, opportunity, second chances, and hope in action.

We’re so grateful to CBS for telling a little piece of the God’s Pantry story and shining a light on the people who make this place what it is.

Every Wednesday, families drive through our food distribution line. Swipe to hear from a few of them, in their own words. 💛 We've served thousands of families like these and every story reminds us why this work matters.

We asked some of our team what motivates them to work hard every day here at God's Pantry, and the answers say it all 💛 Loved ones, purpose, and a little honesty 😂
