Sign ups have been open for one week! If you want to take part in this drawing for one of the 9, 2026 Garfield County Fair RV Sites make sure you do it before the end of the Month, sign ups close on May 31st.

ONLY one entry per household. It is free to participate in drawing but those drawn are required to pay regular price of $40.00 per Night. Payment will be due for the winners by June 15th.

Please remember that RV hookups are for one RV. Adding additional campers will not be tolerated.

Sign up for the Auction May 1st-June 14th

This year we will be auctioning off two prime RV locations:
RV Sites 1 & 2, for the 2026 Garfield County Fair. This includes Thursday through Saturday nights of Fair, winner can add additional nights at regular price per nights.

The same household cannot win booth spots.
Minimum bids start at $150.00, bids ONLY accepted in $25.00 increments.

No lining up at the Extension Office door this year to get an RV Spot for the County Fair. There is a random drawing for 9 spots.

There is just over 4 months until Fair! It is never too early to start preparing! If you start now you could make some really nifty needlework before for Fair! We hope to see lots of entries this year. Share this with all your friends that sew or if you sew give us a tease of what you are working on in the comments.

7:00 AM: Biscuits and Gravy available at the Spinner’s Potato Booth
8:00 AM: Open Horse Show
10:00 AM-11:00 AM: Cowboy Church
10:00 AM: EWAM opens
10:00 AM: Concession stands open, Exhibit Halls Open
11:00 AM: Chicken Scrambles and Balloon Toss in front of the Grandstands
11:00 AM-1:00 PM: Fish Kiss Face Art by west end of Spinners Booth
1:00 PM: Garfield County Fair Rodeo in the Rodeo Arena. Concessions at Rodeo Arena
3:00 PM: Contest winners announced at Rodeo Grounds Arena
4:00 PM: EXHIBITS MAY BE REMOVED. ALL EXHIBITS MUST BE REMOVED BY 5:00 PM

06:30 AM-08:30 AM: Pomeroy Chamber of Commerce Cowboy Breakfast
8:15 AM: Swine Fitting and Showing (Open Class, FFA followed by 4-H)
9:00 AM: EWAM opens.
9:00 AM: Lil’ Pardners Beef Show (2nd optional showing)
9:30 AM: Beef Show. 4-H Market Steer Fitting and Showing (Seniors, Intermediates and Juniors); followed by FFA Fitting and Showing (FR/Sophomore, followed by Jr/Senior); followed by 4-H Feeder Steer Fitting and Showing (Seniors, Intermediates, Juniors); followed by FFA Fitting and Showing (FR/Sophomore, followed by Junior/Senior).
10:00 AM: Exhibit buildings and concessions open
10:00AM-4:00 PM: Antique Farm Equipment Show – baseball field/EWA Museum
10:00 AM-4:00 PM: Glitter Gypsy Glitter Tattoos will be next to the Spinner’s Potato Booth in the Food Court Area
11:00 AM – 4:00 PM: Rizzy the Camel will be on the Grandstand grass
11:00 AM: Sheep and Goat Show. Lamb Fitting and Showing demonstration with judge. 4-H Fitting and
Showing Classes (Senior, Intermediate, then Junior); followed by FFA Fitting and Showing (Freshman/Sophomore, followed by Junior/Senior); followed by Open Class Fitting and Showing.
11:30 AM – 12:00 PM: Music by Dan Faller at the Grandstands
12:00 PM- 2:00 PM- Lawrence Huntley- Hammer Dulcimer Musician
1:00 PM: Horseshoe Tournament next to the Horse Stalls
1:00 4-H/FFA LIVESTOCK ROUND ROBIN – Participants meet at 12:45 pm in the Beef Arena for instructions. 4-H Senior Fitting and Showing winners by species, and FFA Junior/Senior winners by species compete.
1:30 PM: Children’s events in front of the Grand Stand; Minute to Win it, Fair
Themed Game, Straw Search
2:00 PM: 4-H Horse Games in 4-H arena
3:00 PM: WSU/Garfield County Extension serves cake and Ferdinand’s ice cream, Delbert Niebel Arena
3:15 PM: 4-H and FFA pictures
3:45 PM: Market Livestock Awards in Swine Arena – Rate of Gain Winners, Recognition of Grand & Reserve Market Champions, Recognition of Fitting & Showing Grand and Reserve Champions.
4:00 PM: Market Livestock Sale- All Grand Champions will sell first, followed by Reserve
Champions in each barn. Sale order will be Steers, Goats, Lambs, Hogs
7:00 PM: Motorcycle and ATV Arena Games. Start time is approximate.
