The regular meeting of the Pomeroy Chamber of Commerce has been rescheduled for next Thursday, January 15th, 11:30am, at the Pataha Flour Mill.

Oh my goodness you guys! We got THE CALL this morning that SANTA is returning TONIGHT to drive through town and bring his Christmas joy to Pomeroy! His plan is to stick somewhat with the original route but will also go up towards the city and county shops and around by the pool. Who knows, if the weather is good he may even hit some North and South streets as he travels West down Arlington?!? Be on the lookout for Santa and his helpers after 6pm!

Attention Pomeroy!!!
Pomeroy was Santa's favorite place to visit kicking off the Christmas season after Thanksgiving, so... He is coming back TONIGHT and wants to see more of Pomeroy so he will be checking out most east-west streets between 1st and 15th streets and Columbia Street all the way to 18th!!!

About 6 pm, Santa will make his way east from 6th street to 18th, u-turn and back to 15th on Columbia Street, then south on 15th to arlington to go west and continue west on high street at 6th to 1st street, then south to hill street going east, crossing high street on 5th to pataha and west to 3rd, then north to columbia street to 1st, then east on pataha all the way to the park (15th Street), north to columbia st, west to the school (10th Street), then south to high street and west to 6th returning to Maple Hall. Santa hopes to see you tonight!

Santa just called and was very sad to tell us that he had to cancel his visit to Pomeroy tonight. 😢 The reindeer are saving up all their energy for their big night later this month and just aren't able to fly in tonight's extreme winds. But don't you worry, Santa's Christmas magic gets them through even the worst weather conditions once a year on December 24th!

Santa is so sorry, but he had to cancel tonight's ride due to the extreme wind conditions coming our way. Thanks to Santa's magic, those reindeer can fly on Christmas Eve, no matter what the weather is like! But the rest of the year, they have to store up their energy for their one BIG night!!!

Guess who's coming back to town tonight?!? Yes, you got it right, SANTA! He's got a little more work to do on his list before he can start checking it twice, so he's heading back to Pomeroy to add those finishing touches! Santa will basically be on the same route as last week, but he's going to swing up and around the county shop area this time. Head out after 6:00 pm and listen for the sounds of Christmas!
