Come find The Reading Nest at Punx in the Park - an awesome youth resource festival and grab some FREE books while you’re there!

Details: At Salem Riverfront Park this Saturday, September 5 from 11AM - 6 PM. There will be live music, free food for youth ages 11-18, a clothing closet AND youth resources + community organizations!

We’ll be bringing books for readers of all ages and sharing more about what The Reading Nest is all about. We can’t wait to see you there!

A huge thank you to Salt Creek Cider House for choosing us as the nonprofit for Bingo Night this last Friday! 🥹📚

Because of this wonderful event, we raised $411!

We love sharing the impact of donations, so here’s what $411 means for us: it pays for one month of storage for our books and bus, plus half a tank of gas for our bus.

It may seem simple, but those behind-the-scenes costs are what make it possible for us to keep showing up in our community.

Thank you, Salt Creek Cider House, and everyone who came out to play bingo and support our mission. Every dollar truly helps keep our mission moving. 💛

We gave out so many books to our community and had the opportunity to share the mission behind The Reading Nest. 💛

We’re kicking off a community-wide book drive, and we need your help!

Right now, we are especially in need of baby board books and young adult books. These are two areas where our shelves are seriously running low, and we want to make sure we have books ready for the kids and families we’ll be serving this fall.

You can drop off gently used or new books at any of our amazing Community Partner locations:
