We had popcorn, cotton candy, slushies, bottle rockets, a bounce house, crafts, tattoos, bubbles, and games!

The best part of the summer kick off carnival, though, was new friends.

There is nothing better than a hike in the woods. Our cubs had a great time exploring Poland Woods today (and picking up any trash they came across).

The cars did not disappoint!

Shout out to all the wonderful people who contributed to another successful race! It takes an entire village to coordinate both packs, set up the track, weigh and inspect the cars, decorate, arrange snacks and entertainment, take photos, build trophies, and race the cars.

And a special thanks to all the parents who supported their cubs in building their cars.

Both packs are incredibly lucky and grateful to have so many amazing volunteers on team cub scouts!

Shout out to all the cubs is Poland Cub Scout Packs 9002 and 9044.

We gave each kid a block of wood, four nails, and four tires and they worked so hard to create these awesome cars.

They learned valuable skills about designing, cutting, aerodynamics, and speed. We can't wait to see how fast these cars go on the track!
