This coming December 2 we will be doing our Hopi Christmas. I’m so excited, this year will be the best ever once again. We will be starting in First Mesa, 2nd Mesa three villages, then third Mesa two villages. Once again we have about 70 to 100 volunteers and everyone’s excited. Bringing clothing, lots of firewood, Food, etc. etc.

There’s about 12 villages on the Hopi reservation and some of them still to this day do not have running water, electricity, or sewer system. The water that is at Hopi is contaminated with arsenic at a level three times higher than, EPA standards. It is United Rain’s goal to help improve the standards at Hopi with all of the above issues. United Rain-Hopi Outreach

On December 6 and seventh we will again, for the 23rd year in a row bring our Hopi Christmas. On December 6th we will be at Moincopi, lower village, about 12:30 and at Old Oraibi, 3:30 PM.
On December 7th, About 9 AM we will be at First Mesa, on top. At 12 noon we will be at Mishongovi and Shipalovi. Around 3:30 PM we will be at Shungopavi.

Santa Claus will have gifts for the children. We will have approximately 70-100 volunteers giving out many things to the elderly.
