This is an amazing camp for T1Diabetic kids! Our daughter has been a camper since she was 6 and this year will be the Camp Program Director. They are still rebuilding after Covid. Please support if you can!

Once again, we are grateful for all of the support that was provided this past weekend. We have received some questions about what kind of donations we could use as we prepare for camp to open on June 23. Therefore, we created an Amazon wishlist for anyone who is interested in helping out.

Hello everyone!! Looking for volunteers to help with a project for a local person who needs a lift!

Let’s Give Jayden a LIFT!
Many of you heard last year that Jayden’s family has
received a grant through the Community Foundation of Frederick County to install a wheelchair lift at his home. Brook Hill UMC is looking for volunteers to help with this life changing project. We will be meeting at his home on Saturday, January 10 at 9:30am to break ground! This will involve tearing down an existing patio covering, cleaning up some debris from the patio, and digging footers. The project will then continue over several Saturdays (weather permitting). We will be building a large deck, installing a door, and installing the lift. If you
are interested in volunteering on any of these days, we will find a job for you! We would love to include
Jayden’s Rock Creek family and friends in this gift for him and his family. If you are interested, would like to

We have some vehicle repair/modification grant money that needs to be spent by the end of the year. ASAP! It needs to be used for vehicle modification or repair for a car used to transport a person with disabilities who is a Frederick County resident. If you have a fairly recent repair/modification bill that you may be able to get partially reimbursed. Please email your paid invoice/receipt and description ASAP to [email protected].

Limited Vehicle Modification Grants available up to $3,000. The goal of this project is to assist families of youth or dependent adult children to pay for modifications to their family vehicles to allow for the safe transportation of the family member who is disabled as well as the caregiver. If your application is approved, payment will be made directly to a vendor or offered as reimbursements only after proof is provided that the applicant has spent an equal amount toward the project. Each applicant/family may request up to $3,000--these are matching funds. These funds must be spent asap so don't delay. Please fill out the form attached below.
