[Posted by Peggy Day] At the CalTrans repaving project planning meeting yesterday, they presented the new light they propose to put up at West Marin School. It was a shock as they had previously promised pedestrian-activated yellow flashing lights at both sides of that crosswalk. Although I objected because our town plan excludes red lights, I just learned HAWKs present new hazards unto themselves. Be sure to watch the video linked below. I'll find an email if you want to let CalTrans know your opinion and put it in the comments below.
Zooming or joining a PointReyesStationVillageAssociation meeting helps too. Next meeting is Thursday May 9 at 6:30 at the Dance Palace. Agenda soon.
