One World, One Love Welcoming refugees to New Jersey, one family at a time. Since then, 1W1L has organically grown to hundreds of members and supporters.

Started by one mother moved by the unspeakable acts of violence against refugees in places like Syria, she put out a call to action and others joine

d her. As a group of volunteers, our aim is to deploy teams to help with the immediate as well as long term resettlement needs for those granted entry to the United States. Our goal is to be wherever and however we are most needed. Volunteers are always welcome! Please message us if you would like to help clean and set up an apartment or donate items (new or gently used). New volunteer opportunities will be posted as they arise.

The Bike Program is accepting donations of bikes again! We're looking for adult bikes (men's and women's, any size) that are maybe in need of a little repair. We inflate tires, change tubes, fix brakes, etc, and get them ready to be passed on to families who need them for jobs, job hunting, or errands around town.

Contact us at [email protected] if you have one to donate. The Bike Program is located in Union so they can be delivered here or we can pick up if it's not too far.

We also take donations of helmets, locks, bike pumps, and bike bells.

We are so grateful to Victoria's Secret and Marcie Maccarelli with I Support the Girls - Central/North New Jersey for their generous donation of 400 pairs of brand-new ladies' underwear. These essentials may seem small, but they have a huge impact, offering dignity, comfort, and confidence to the women we serve. A special shout-out to Sohail for picking up the donation. We can't wait to distribute these items at the Welcome Center pop-up in Elizabeth this week! ❤

A bra is more than just clothing — it's a symbol of dignity, a quiet reminder to a woman that she matters, that she's worthy, and that she’s not forgotten. So when I Support the Girls - Central/North New Jersey, a longtime supporter of our work, reached out about donating hundreds of new bras, we of course said yes! Yesterday 1W1L volunteer Teri delivered the bras to the New Americans Resource Center, a monthly event in Elizabeth where immigrant newcomers can access services and essential items. We're thrilled that we can serve women in this way, helping to raise their dignity and self-esteem. Thank you I Support the Girls for your collaboration! ❤
