Awaken Appalachia- Johnda Rice and Ryan Vaughn came to town today to meet with some of our QRT team as well as Wayne Saunders who is a minister at Western Regional Jail. If all of the local churches could reach out with some contact info, we would greatly appreciate it! There is something big coming to Mason County next Spring and I know you will want to be a part of it!

Of course they HAD to get Mothman in the background. 😂☺️.

🌸 We’re bringing Camp Mariposa to Mason County — and we’re hiring! 🌸

Community Connections, Inc. is looking for a Part-Time Mason County Site Coordinator to help launch Camp Mariposa in the community!

Camp Mariposa is a year-round addiction prevention and mentoring program for youth ages 9–12 who have been impacted by substance use in their families. The Site Coordinator will help bring this program to life by coordinating weekend camps, recruiting mentors and campers, and connecting with the Mason County community.

💜 If you’re passionate about supporting youth and want to help us build something meaningful in Mason County, we’d love to hear from you!

This! I found when talking to people at the fair that a lot of people refuse to carry Narcan because they don’t struggle with addiction. Once explained, MOST people understand and decide to carry.

Remember! Everyone belongs to someone.
