Remember. If you ignore a law for years you had every opportunity to comply with, but refused to, and they finally catch you and win in court, continue to commit that crime, and blame the victim and anyone enforcing the law, like Governor Kathy Hochul’s example sets.

The governor is set on amending the 2019 Climate Act in wake of a lawsuit filed by environmental activists, and says the need for change is their fault.

Downstate NY gas heating customers’ 40% rate increase in 3 years is complete. National Grid will soon ask for FURTHER increases on your bill for the next 3 years.

Wow, Trump not living up to his end of a deal with Governor Kathy Hochul after she gave away New Yorkers’ rights, environment, and billion$ for an unneeded pipeline, and state energy plan inexplicably doubled down on high cost fracked gas, with no guarantee of anything, gets this.

At the Capitol we are urging Governor Kathy Hochul to sign the 100-ft Rule Repeal which is on desk her right now. NYers can no longer foot the bill, upward of $600million a year for extra gas pipes we don't need.

We need Gov. Hochul to protect our wallets, our health and our future!

Today we are in Albany with our allies and a couple hundred people, (w/ Betta Broad of New Yorkers For Clean Power speaking here) to raise our voices in support of Governor Hochul repealing the 100-foot rule! New Yorkers shouldn’t pay for unneeded gas pipes that drive up bills by $700 million per year -NOT affordable. New Yorkers need real relief & to move to efficient, all-electric buildings.
