A Personal Update & Prayer Request
To our friends, pastors, churches, and ministry partners across Mzansi....I owe you both an apology and an update.
Due to injuries I sustained from a fall...My doctor’s suggest, we make the difficult decision to delay our return to South Africa by about one month. I certainly wish that weren’t necessary, but I also know it is the wise thing to do.
Getting to Mzansi means 28 hours of travel, including nearly 20 hours in the air, and I’ve discovered that the older I get, the more demanding that journey becomes on my body. My doctor has encouraged me to take a little more time to prepare physically so that when we arrive, I’m able to do what we’re coming there to do.
So this is delayed—not cancelled.
God willing, we will be in South Africa during October and November, and I am already looking forward to attending some braais, eating some pap, and sitting across the table from pastors, visiting churches, meeting community leaders, preaching where God opens the door, and continuing the work of The Timothy Project.
Our heart and our mission have not changed.... (CHILDREN & FATHERING) We will continue providing our ministry resources completely free of charge—coming alongside local churches, encouraging pastors and ministry leaders, and helping equip those who are already faithfully serving their communities.
To those who were expecting us sooner, I sincerely apologize for the change in plans. And to everyone who has been following, supporting, and praying for this work, I have one simple request:
- Please pray for us.
- Pray that this additional month will give me the strength I need for the journey.
- Pray for safe travel.
- Pray for open doors.
And most of all, pray that when we arrive, God will use every meeting, every conversation, every resource, and every opportunity for His purposes.
🇿🇦 Mzansi—we’re still coming. Just a little later than we planned.
Same God. Same Mission. Still Going.
IN HIS GRIP...
