Applications, messages, and a whole lot of adorable cats keep our team busy! 💕

Please help us by applying only for cats currently listed on our Adopt-a-Pet page.

We sometimes receive 50 or more applications for a single kitty. Reviewing them takes time, and we appreciate your patience while we find the right home.

We have the cats. We have the love. What we need are more safe homes. 🐱❤️

If you can temporarily welcome a cat or kitten into your family, please message us about becoming a foster!

A MICROCHIP IS PART OF THE PACKAGE

Every adoption through The Way Station includes a microchip as part of our standard adoption care.

Your fee also includes spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccines, SNAP testing, and deworming. These services reflect the preparation behind each adoption.

Some longhaired cats and special breed mixes have higher fees. That additional support helps us cover food, medicines, and urgent medical cases throughout the rescue.

Different fees help sustain a shared mission: giving cats the care they need and the opportunity to find a home.

🖤🐾 Meet Dundee: tiny adventurer, professional wiggle worm, and VERY serious biscuit maker!

This precious 6-week-old boy was rescued from the side of Dundee Road, which is how he earned his name. Now he’s safe and showing us that his little body contains absolutely ZERO fear. 😂

Being held? “Excuse me, I have places to be!” 🏃‍♂️💨
Making biscuits on you? “Please remain still. This bakery isn’t going to run itself.” 🍞👨‍🍳

Dundee has very specific terms for affection: you may provide the love, but he controls the kneading schedule. And judging by those tiny paws, he has a LOT of orders to fill. 🥹🖤

He still has some growing to do before he’s ready for adoption. For now, his priorities are being precious, wiggling through every cuddle attempt, and keeping the biscuit factory open!

🦇🧛‍♀️ “I vant to steal your heart… and your spot on the couch.”

Batwings is ready to fly right into your arms! But vampire rules are vampire rules—she needs an invitation before she can enter your home. Once invited? She’s moving in PERMANENTLY. 😂🏰

She already owns a tuxedo, so she’s dressed for dinner. Every dinner. For the rest of her life. 🖤🤍

Her proposed living arrangements:
🦇 Your castle becomes her castle.
🛋️ Your couch becomes her throne.
🍽️ Dinner must arrive before she becomes Count Snackula.
🧛‍♀️ Any mysterious noises at 3 a.m.? Probably just her midnight zoomies.
