Check out Miss Love on Channel 69 News this morning talking about our Weaving Warmth Blanket program. Way to go Miss Love!
Libraries are more than just books.📚

Clymer Library said people can help create cozy fleece blankets for cancer patients at Geisinger Wyoming Valley’s Henry Cancer Center.

Just an FYI.

One of our favorite things lately has been seeing patrons stop by the library, sit down at our Weaving Warmth table, and add a few knots to a blanket.

That’s really all it takes! No sewing, no special skills, no experience, and no big time commitment. If you have five minutes, you can help. Simply tie a few pieces of fleece together, and little by little, our community creates a warm blanket for someone who needs it.

We love walking by throughout the day and seeing the blankets slowly come together! One patron, one knot, and a few minutes at a time.

Weaving Warmth is drop-in, so stop by whenever you’re at the library and add a few knots. Stay for five minutes or stay a little longer. Every knot helps. 🧶❤️

Did you see us on WNEP and Channel 13 News? We’re so grateful for the support Weaving Warmth has been getting!

And good news: it’s no longer just for Wednesdays. Drop in at Clymer Library on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays 9:30–4:30, or Thursdays, 9:30–2:00 to help make fleece blankets for patients at Geisinger Wyoming Valley’s Henry Cancer Center.

All you have to do is tie knots along the edge of a blanket. It’s that simple! No experience needed, and even five minutes of your time can help spread a little warmth and kindness. 🧡
