Historical Association of Tobyhanna Township "HATT"

• Monthly meetings are held April through November (2nd Wednesday of each month), and special events throughout the year at the Clymer Library in Pocono Pines, as well as “on-site” field trip visitations. Township residency is not a requirement of membership.
• Presentations by guest speakers and members about specific topics of history concerning Tobyhanna Township.
• Members conduct various rese

arch projects to document and preserve specific historical records of our community.
• HATT maintains a growing, professionally managed archive database in which copies of records, photographs, etc. are being maintained as a central source of preservation as well as a basis for research.
• Rotating public displays are maintained by HATT at both the Clymer Library and the Pocono Pines Post Office, documenting various topics of Tobyhanna Township history.
• Now exceeding 150 members, and growing monthly.
• The HATTBOX newsletter is published throughout the year to communicate historical information and activities of HATT.
• An annual excursion bus trip out of the area to expand our historical perspectives beyond the Township.
• Transportation to meetings and events available.
