Effective Monday March 2, 2026 there is a vehicle weight limitation on Locust Lake Village roads from
Monday March 2, 2026 until - Wednesday April 15, 2026
All vehicles
5 Tons or over 10,000 Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW)
are prohibited on Village roads, with the exception of school buses and emergency vehicles.

We urge drivers to avoid unnecessary travel in the heavy snow expected to fall across most of PA this weekend.

If you must drive, please follow these tips to stay safe:
• Use extra caution, especially on bridges and ramps which are prone to icy conditions.
• Increase following distance between vehicles.
• Avoid sudden maneuvers on the road.
• And always buckle up, especially in inclement weather. Seat belts save lives!

WINTER STORM WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM LATE SATURDAY NIGHT THROUGH MONDAY MORNING.

SNOW REMOVAL PARKING

The snowy winter season is upon us. That said, it is a good time to remind LLV residents and guests that on-street parking is prohibited. Vehicles parked on the road are a major hindrance to our snowplows and Emergency vehicles.

Vehicles MAY NOT be parked on the roadways or protruding into the road from any driveway. The parking lots at the front and rear entrances to LLV also need to be kept clear for the snowplows. Citations will be given for non-compliance.

If there are any parking EMERGENCIES, you may contact LLV Security @ 570-646-3532 for further instructions.

If there is an emergency or loss of power, the chalet will be open for anyone needing warmth or a place to charge electronic devices etc.

Trash Center:
The Trash Center will be closed on Sunday January 25, 2026, due to the accumulation of snow, for the safety of both the owners and staff.

Administration Office:
The Administration Office may be closed on Monday, January 26, 2026, for the safety of our staff. If road conditions improve and staff are able to travel safely, there is a possibility of delayed opening.
