Thank you for the challenge quilts! These were made by Babs E, Flo C, Kathleen K and others. The 2926 Challenge theme is "Be a Good Sport". Everyone is welcome to enter a handmade blanket. I need all entries by September so they can be hung for a quilt show in October.

Thank you, Jane E! These sports theme quilts are beautiful! Both were quilted by hand!

Every 2 years we coordinators are invited to the retreat. Coordinators from all over the country are gathered to learn more, share ideas, enjoy cameraderie and refresh our energy for serving children in our communities. Nationwide, well over 10 milliion blankets have been given to children in the last 30 years--. Locally we have given more than 18,200 to DelMarVa kids! Awesome volunteers make this possible! It is estimated that we have over 80,000 volunteers across the country, in nearly every state. The Lower DelMarVa chapter has about 100 volunteers from about 5 states.
